Ooooo.. More. LOL... Anyway I forgot to write some more things on OBS. So I'll just add in now. So we got jerry cans to contain water for the expedition. Then each day 2 cans I think. Cause we filled 6 cans for the expedition. Then 3 days expedition. So should be 2 each day lor. Then 1st morning outside main camp need start refill the bottles mah. So I have to take the jerry can containing 20 litres of water to fill the smaller bottles with 2 litres each. With the help from a funnel. But the jerry can super heavy. Then very hard to tilt. Cannot use the "correct" way to lift up the can to pour. Then end up gave up and just bend down grab the can and pour. Then they use the water to drink and cook the ovaltine etc. Then somemore during expedition I need carry the heavy bag. Then the cans all at bottom cause if put at top will crush the rest of the food. Then when I carry the bag cannot stand straight cause the cans will hit my back. So have to lean forward. Anyway the bag so heavy until if I stand straight will fall back that kind. And I almost fell back on most of the times. Lol... Then end of the day I think I hurt my back or something. End up cannot bend down at all. Will pain. Then overnight then got a bit better. Until now sometimes still got pain sia... Haiz... Sad... Go OBS until got so many injuries.

So OBS ended on friday. Then go eat until like 6+pm then reach home. Then go back check email then found out is sunday morning flight to Australia. >.> I thought gonna be night flight sia. Then can sleep more. End up will only get 1 full night of sleep... Haiz... Then that night like slept 13hrs. Haha... Cannot sleep well at OBS. Then also sleep very little. So end up like that lor... Haha... Then need pack stuff... So sian... Need wet shoes. >.> And I just threw away my old shoe used for wet things on friday. Haiz... Have to go buy... Then again the shoe already like very bad condition. The bottom part falling off already. So also no choice lah. Then go buy the wet shoe only $6. Lol... Should have bought for OBS. Nvm lor. Save money for one time mah. Make it last a bit longer. Haha...

So pack all the stuff go check in is 11.6kg or so. Limit is 20kg. So can buy like 8.4kg more of things to pack inside the main luggage and check in back home. Go inside the departure terminal then everyone go to the gate area already. So wasted. There got so much things to walk around. T3 somemore sia. Quite nice. Haha... Maybe can go class outing there. Hehe...Visit the 3 terminals. Quite ex though. But can go around fun lah. Haha... The terminal got a place can charge handphone de. Then my handphone gonna low batt so I just plug it in. Lol... But cannot charge long cause we have to go to gate early and wait. So sad. Then queue very long. End up just lazy to move and sit there wait. Also inside the gate area got comp and internet. So used a bit. Haha... Then go queue up and go into the plane. The plane is B777-200 I think. Then not very big. So sad. Then the entertainment system like don't like me sia. Play halfway it kana jam cause of announcement. Sad. Then cannot play. Just sleep. Haha... Catch up on sleep. Then after like dunno how many hrs then ok liao. But is like only 3hrs or less till we reach. So I watch Wall.E then got a bit of time left before gonna land.

The landing super hard sia. >.> I think I land even better than the pilot. Lol... The airplane simulator I land very smooth de. Just I dunno how to use the instruments then cannot align to the runway properly. Then will land off the track one. Haha... But still more smooth lah. When we land like everyone got bumped up and off the seat. Pain sia. Somemore my back haven't fully recover. Lol... Killer sia. Anyway when reach liao there the sky already dark. I thought still haven't leh. Last time I go was like 8pm then dark one. We reach like 7+pm already dark. Oh well... Then took our bags liao then go to the big big bus to go to the apartments. We got 50+ people but the bus can fit us all. Still got somemore space at the back sia. Lol... Huge bus. From far far away can see the bus very big and tall. Lol... Then reach the apartment take keys. The key very weird one. Got the normal door key. Then got a security key or something. Inside should be chip. Then need scan it on the scanner on the door outside the apartment building and in the life then can go in and use the lift. The key can only access the floor one. Other floors cannot enter. Except the Ground floor and Pool floor. That one all can enter.

Then go there the apartment still ok. Got 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 kitchen and 1 living room and 1 balcony. Quite nice. Then nothing much liao. They got give food pack. Inside got a loaf of bread, cheese, sandwiches for everyone, packets of drink and cup noodles. Forgot what else. That's for dinner that night and supper and breakfast for the rest of the mornings. Then I go the 7-11 just below the apartment to buy prepaid card to call back. Quite cheap. Haha... End up I spam call. Hehe... Oh well... Still got credits left mah. Don't waste. Now want use also cannot liao. Need go back Australia call. Haiz...

Then morning go take the bus to UQ. Is like 15mins to 1/2 hr by bus. Quite near. As compared to Australia lah. Haha... 1/2 hr to us in Singapore is like wah... Soooo far. Lol... Anyway then reach there too early. So we just walk walk around first. Inside got a cafe. Then got post office. Then got lake one. But at first dunno where that was. Then end up we walk 1 round around a small part of the uni building. Like walk 1 quarter of the section of the uni or something like that. Lol... So after that we go to their dunno what science learning center. They share their learning or something like that there. Then they gave a talk on Australia and the Uni. A small one of course. Then got a key point is that they only need at least 3 Cs for A levels to enter. It sure is easier for overseas uni. Haha... If took the poly route still can skip years. Then even faster then study JC. Now too late to choose. If go poly like a bit dumb now. Lol... Waste 1 year for nothing and go poly.

Then after that they took us for campus tour. Then we saw the lake. Quite nice. Still got birds around the lake one. Then got a few ducks. Super fat and big sia. Like almost 1/2 a person's height. Almost lah. Really big and fat duck. So sad cannot eat. Haha... Then go to see their college. That's the place they stay in lah. Weird names. They still got what private learning college or something like that. That's for studying one. Haha... Then go see see their college lor. Nothing much. Then go lecture and workshop after their BBQ lunch. Is they BBQ the sausage then put it between bun. Nothing very special. But that's their Australian styled BBQ. Our styled BBQ got so much stuff. Practically like everything we can get our hands on. Haha...

Then the lecture is about plant genetic engineering. They like modify the genes of the plant to make it resistant to pests or make it seedless etc. All bio stuff bah. So is like know for general knowlege lor. And general paper. Lol... Then the workshop is about neuroscience or something like that. Experiment on different types of reflex de. Then got eye, calf, balance, touch, sound. Some quite interesting lah. But some very sian. Then after that go back liao. Then we go Chinatown eat. Chinese food. Haiz... Dunno why I already know it's not gonna be edible but still go eat... Haiz... Well at least I confirmed that chinese food in Australia isn't as good as in Singapore. Then also got go their supermarket on the way to Chinatown. Like hypermarket like that. Very big. Got sell a lot of things. Didn't see electrical appliances though. Mostly is just the things common supermarkets sell. Except they sell more and lots more different types. Then after that go back liao.

The next day also about the same. Go UQ. But is have breakfast there at UQ de cafe. The food not bad. I like the pancake with syrup. Haha... Should eat more mac back here. Haha... Then got lecture and workshop. Lecture is about human geno project. Like map out the human genes. Can find out if you are more prone to a certain disease or not. Quite interesting. But same lor. Know but cannot apply. Haha... So sad. Then go anatomy museum. Both animals and human one. Quite scary for the human one. The animals one still ok. They look quite real. Acutally they were once alive lah. Then they dunno how treat it then become like that lor. Then the human one super scary. Can see the brain. Then the eye ball floating in the eye socket. Then brain still will jump one when you move the casing. Also got dried samples. Is treated one so it doesn't decompose. Also got bones, legs, arms. The whole leg. Well preserved. Scary... Good thing I don't aspire to be a doctor. Lol... Super scary sia. Then after that is lunch. Haha... Weird eh? Their lunch very little. Like tea break like that. Some more I came back from OBS become need eat a lot. So not enough lor. Then they carry another batch. But really is like tea break lor. So sad. Then the tea break really is about the same stuff. Just more types. Haha... Anyway then go for workshop. Is lab session. Make wine from grapes. They make into grapes pulp liao. Then we just make and follow the instructions lor. But so sian. Everything know appox how to do liao. But they still want to guide step by step. Haiz... No choice lor. Their lab mah. But we got to use micro pipette. Is a smaller version of the ones we use back in our labs. Can measure like 10 micro litres to 1000 micro litres. Which is also 1 ml. But is 3 different types to reach the different range lah. Then need turn the knob to get like a certain amount of volume then you release the button to let it suck up the solution. Quite fun to use. Then waste a lot of time there. Still go calculate the alcohol level using another bottle prepared 1 day ago by dunno who. Then got use the mini centrifuge or something like that. They separate the solid and liquid in the solution. Very fun. Haha... Then also got a machine to test how clear the solution is. As in test how much light can go through it. From there can calculate the alcohol percentage. Haha... Quite fun machine.

Then after that went back to the apartment. Went to buy things to cook dinner. Haha... Then still got chocolate fondue one. But so sad it over cooked... Haiz... So just eat the strawberry and a bit of like chocolate shreds. Haha... Minced chocolate. Then the over cooked chocolate smells quite nice. Like brownie or something like that. Haha... Got try a bit also not bad. Next time too bored can do that again to eat. Hehe...

Then after that leave for North Stratbroke island. There got the UQ research station. Called Moreton Bay Research Station. Then reach there liao same thing. Short presentation on the research station and the rules. Then got tea break. They got lots of tea break. Morning tea and afternoon tea. Just don't have supper. So sad. Haha... Anyway after that we go Blue lake. Do investigation. Bus cannot reach that lake. So have to walk like 2.6km in. The bus is really school bus. The yellow old old kind on tv that kind. Haha... But too small. Everyone cannot fit in. The guides end up sit on the steps on the bus. Then need walk in. Surrounding all forest. The ground is not soil but is sand. Haha... Very weird. Like the beach got rainforest. Cause the whole island is made of sand one. So walk walk in. Then reach the lake. Like nothing special leh. Just a lake. Then like beach. Haha... Very weird lah. Then go collect water sample for dunno what nitrates. Also use net fish see can fish what kind of organisms out. Got tiny prawns and fish. I think. Then it started raining. >.> Went we're still so deep inside. Haiz... Then end up walk walk walk almost reach liao finally stop raining. But like all wet liao lor. Sian... Then supposed to go Brown lake to do same thing. That place got road access. Then end up go there eat lunch then go back to the research station. Cause we all wet. Then the wind super big. Super cold. The wind at the island always very big de. There is supposed to be summer but feels very cold. Weird. So eat already went back for lectures. After showering lah. There not OBS. Can shower de. Haha... Then was dinner I think. Then was debrief of the investigation. Dunno what perched and window lake lah. Then do another lecture. Supposed to be on the last day on the island but they exchanged the 2 lectures. Was about origins and environment of the island I think. Then after that go sleep liao. Very tired sia. Actually after the lakes got another mangrove investigation one. But never go cause they already thought before hand confirm no time. Haha... Really no time sia. No mood somemore.

Oh and the research station got a small section got rooms. Then their door is use keypad one. 6 numbers password. 1st 4 number same for everyone. I think that was the school code. Then the last 2 was the room number. But they reset everytime change people lah. So now already different. Then inside got 4 bunk beds. Total 8 beds. For 3 people only. Haha... The 1st floor for guys and teachers. No toilets in the room. All is outside share. Only the teachers have their own toilets that needs to share. The girls' 2nd floor is 2 room share 1 toilet. 8 people share 1 lor. Still ok bah I guess. At least it's directly connected to your room. The guys toilet also seperate. That's pretty much lor. Shower 1st floor got 3. Then male and female toilet. So all the guys share the 3 shower. But very funny thing. Most of the time I go into the male toilet is no one de. 1st 2-3 days I go in is only myself in there. Except when another person go with me lah. So funny. Haha... That's pretty much all bah.

Then the next morning start with lectures as usual. Is about poisonous and venomous creatures. Supposed to copy down the things during the lectures and activities into the workbook they give us. But end up they go so fast that can't copy finish. Good thing we no need hand in. The batch before us (JJC) need hand in. They must have went super slow. Haha... Then dunno why after the lecture they talk about the plans. Then this tutor (or I said just now guides. I lazy to go back change to tutor. Lol... They actually come as project based and teach or something like that. Just do these activities lah.) erm... That was long. Where was I? Lol... This tutor hor. Female one. She say say say. Say later got opportunity to go the beach there swim. Then she dunno why go pull the shoulder strap of the swimsuit she wear underneath out. Then say "see? I'm prepared to go swimming later. I'm wearing my swimsuit." or something like that. I was like huh? Say can le mah. Still got action de wor. Lol... They like quite open to these things lor. No wonder the free hugs campaign was a success. Haha... PW project again. No wonder we need to do our project. Cause we not so open mah. Asian reticence bah blah blah. Lol...

So first was to go Point Lookout see the view or something like that. Then need walk along the cliff for quite a distance. Then saw manta rays. They say also got dolphins but I didn't saw. So sad. Anyway then wind super strong. Then still raining somemore. >.> So sian. Finally walk finish. There got a small row of shops. Then got a shop sell those towels, keychains, shirt, slippers etc. Also got a few similar shops beside it. Then got a shop sell ice cream. Got to try 6 flavours. Not bad sia. Haha... All the flavours tried quite nice. Of course I share with someone else lah. It's 2 person portion mah. But each flavour is like 1 normal scoop lor. $12 in total. Quite worth. Haha... Then after that was to go dunno what high energy rock shore to investigate the organisms there. But we went back to the station instead. Eat lunch there. They say wind and rain too strong. Not safe to go there. That's the northern part of the island. We stay at middle west part. There no rain. Only wind. Haha... Then change to low energy shore instead. About the same bah. Got see lots of organisms. Especially oysters. Got tons on 1 rock. Dunno can eat or not. The tutor say used for fishing but she no idea if can eat or not. Then we walk down somemore. See got eagles and seagull fighting or doing dunno what. Haha... Anyway then walk down somemore see a whole bunch of soldier crabs. Very small crabs. Got a whole army of them moving. Like little red/blue dots moving. Haha... But they will hide in the sand one. So when we go chase them then they go hide in the sand by digging a hole. Then see got small small ponds there caused when the tide go down. Inside got fishes. Small small ones also. Just now back at the rocks also got medium size crabs. Compared to the soldier crabs they are a lot lot bigger. Haha... Then after that go back to the station for tea break. Supposed to have swimming at the beach one mah. But it's in the north side there I think. So quite dangerous. Cannot go. Then some wear swimsuit underneath de end up wasted lor. The tutor also. Haha... She that time still very proudly show sia... End up cannot show off. Haha... Then we also go use microscope to see organisms. They go take water from nearby the jetty when we having lunch and now we see lor. It uses reflected light so no need disect the thingy then can see already. Quite cool. Still can adjust the light intensity. But is only Off to 1 to 10. Haha... Then after that dinner. Then got lecture again. But is on turtles of Moreton Bay. Quite interesting. Haha... Somemore during the day a few researchers doing anatomy on frozen turtles through the day. Haha... Span through our stay at the station lah. Is just coincidence. They didn't plan it on purpose one.

Oh and before dinner we go see their wet lab. They keep some sea animals in there for research and experiment purpose. Quite interesting. Got a shark in the main pool. Not very big lah. Like the kiddy pool you see advertised in toy shops that kind of size. But deeper lah. Lol... Then got other standard fish tanks. Quite interesting lah.

Then the next morning the aboriginal come give talk. Talk about their cultural on the islands at Moreton Bay. Actually the Stratbroke islands were linked one. But it broke up cause they go bomb the sea to make way for ships to get into the port in Brisbane. So at low tide can go island hopping. Haha... Then after that morning tea. Haha... Eat again. :P Then is walk walk walk to some sea side place. Then use net to catch fish etc for investigation again. But was high tide sia. Can see the grass. Then is the sea liao. Lol... But the sea not very deep lah. Still ok. Can walk like quite far away still ok. Then we need walk out then pull the net in. 2 times. So sian... Catch the same things. Then they took pictures of the organisms and release them back into the sea. Then when back to shower and have lunch. So sian. OBS go into sea water. Now still go into sea water. Clothes wet sia. I so sian with sea water and clothes getting wet liao. Lol... I now really prefer freshwater. Haha... Tired of the seawater liao. Then lunch liao they talk about the fishes and organisms we caught. After that should go investigate sea grass one. But wind so strong. End up cancel as well. The wind really super strong. Can fly a kite and the string may break those kind sia. Then we just sat there and waste time bah. But is their last day working on this project. We going back the next day. So took photos and blah blah blah. Then after dinner liao the staff in the office talked about the history of Stratbroke Island. Quite interesting. Haha... Then after lunch that day we got free 1 tee shirt from UQ. Haha... Got many patterns lah. But all still okok. So I just anyhow pick 1 that got my size. Haha...

Then the next morning go take ferry back to mainland. Like that few days keep talking mainland and island and ferry. Haha... OBS + UQ trip lah. Lol... Then go back we spilt into 3 bus. The mini bus super fast. Can reach like 100+ km/h. Fast sia. Lol... Even faster than some of the cars on the road. Then we went to Springbrook national park. Rainforest. Then the bus driver say to avoid leeches put sunscreen on your hands and rub it evenly on the exterior of your shoes. But I no have so dont care. But like also no use. The others put liao also kana leeches. I only fell on sock. Then I pluck it off the sock and threw it away. So slimy. Disgusting sia. I dont want go into another rainforest again liao. Got to see waterfall and the plants lah. But that's all lor. Then the bus driver know a lot. Cause he young he mix a lot with aboriginal ppl. Then he know how to surf de. Haha... Surf on the bus would be cool. Haha... Too bad he didn't do that. Anyway they prepared simple lunch at a shelter also some where else in the national park. Bread and veg and ham etc lah. Then going to go off liao it started raining. >.> In fact got hails lor. The ice drop down from sky. The roof bam bam bam. Quite loud. See it's so cold until can start hailing. Haha... Ice on the ground sia. But very fast melt cause got rain wash it. The hails only a short while in front lah. It sounded like heavy rain like that. Very heavy rain. Haha... Then while still raining we just ran to the bus lor. Then go see a few different places of lookout. The view quite nice. But pretty much the same. Then go to the point of the best lookout or something like that last. The driver say his sister live on 1 of the farms below. Then if he call out she can hear. Haha... Very funny. Then after that it was a long drive back to Brisbane. Saw movie world and a few different places on the way back. On the highway lah. So just saw a bit of the rides from far away lor. Then need refill halfway. So have to stop and wait for the other 2 bus cause they sharing fuel card to pump fuel or something like that. Then finally refill liao went back to apartment. Haha... Dinner we go the queen street mall. There eat Hungry Jack's. Is like their Burger King. I think is Burger King but they use another name lah cause everything inside is exactly the same. The logo also same. That time was saturday. It open 24hrs. All the rest of the shops close. So can only go there eat. Then got bookstore. Very nice. Go there shop shop shop. Haha... Cause it put offer mah. Then also quite cheap. Haha... Then went back for debriefing again and sleep.

The next day go movie world. We reach quite early. Before 10am. So haven't fully open. They closed 1 side to do opening ceremony. Haha... Very funny. Then open liao we go take the rides. Scary sia. The scooby doo ride like Escape de indoor rollercoaster. Except much much longer and thriling. Haha. I like it. But cannot take too much. I cannot stand it. Haha... Then took another rollercoaster in kiddy side de. It beats the rollercoaster in Escape. Again. Lol... Kiddy ride sia. Lol... Then go ride a few more times cannot stand liao. Have to stop. Then we just play the paid games there. Some continue playing the superman. And lethal weapon. Scary sia. Don't dare play. I scared of heights one sia. Still ask me go play these things I cannot one. Haha... Then go their souvenir shop walk and buy things. I got a popcorn. Their cup very nice. I last time go there also collect one. But I prefer the old design. It really show what movie world is. Got all their cartoon characters. Now is just promote Shrek 4D. Lol... Then there used to be a large stage for performance one. Now closed to make a new stage. Opening in Summer 2008. >.> So sad. Opening liao but still too early. Haiz... I wanna watch one... >.< Anyway after that go Hard Rock Cafe eat. Ok lah the food there. As in taste. Not price. We go as group is cheaper. But still need pay $35 sia. Ex ex. Anyway after that go back already. No more debrief cause they did that on the bus on the way back. Haha...

Then is free day. Actually is city tour one. But dunno why change. But nvm lor. I prefer free day. We go the Lone pine. Koala sanctuary. See the Australian animals. Not bad lah. I took quite a lot of pics. Then after that go back on public bus. The return trip cost $5.10 sia. Ex ah. Entry fee as a group was $19 per person. Then that's about all lor. After go back go eat there. Ate at Red Rooster. Eat their roast chicken. Not bad. Then after that just shop shop shop. Haha. Then dinner I ate alone at another fast food outlet. Start with dunno what O one I think. Forgot already. Then go the bookstore buy books again. Hehe... The bus terminal at Queen street mall mah. So end up go back there. Anyway there quite close to apartment. A short walk only. I really like the apartment cause it's so close. Haha... Anyway then buy already go back for debrief again. But is just about the time to report tmr and checkout lah. Nothing much lor.

Then the breakfast so far all cook noodles + egg. Haha... Last morning also. Just everyday different flavours. Last day de breakfast go supermarket buy. 7-11 super ex. 1 pack like $1+ already. Back here can buy 6 packs. So eat already pack finish all the stuff then went to outside apartment and wait liao. That previous night I wrote reflection until very late. 2 pages + 1 foolscape. And those on the 1st sheet of paper one that one 2 lines can fit into 1 line on the foolscape. Lol... Last day that I wrote was day 5 I think. Just before leaving research station that day lah. That one is like almost 1 full page. Just 3 lines space at the top for writing the previous day one. Haha...

Then go airport de direct factory outlet. That day when returning from movie world? I think. I forgot liao. Anyway one of the day also go another direct factory outlet buy things. It's like a huge shopping mall. Many different outlets. Haha... All direct from factory so cheaper. Bought only 1 shirt and go their Woolworths supermarket go buy nuts. Haha... Then go airport buy again. The nougats at airport sell even cheaper at a store in queen street mall. $50 for 1 KG at the mall. Airport duty free is only $32.50. Lol... Difference by so much. Only bought 1 Kg lah. Too much dunno how to bring back. Cause I think got weight limit de for the cabin luggage. Haha... 7kg only. My bag altogether 6.4kg or so liao. + that things already overshoot by 1kg. Haha... Good thing they don't really check one. Hehe... So just go back on the same type of plane. I think. Then the entainment system for mine spoil again. This time is stuck loading game. >.> Never recover. So sad. So I slept again. Hehe... Then reach back in terminal 2. So sad didn't manage to go in terminal 3. Never go see their arrival before. At least terminal 2 familiar to me lah. Then just go back home lor.

And hor... like within 1 hr I touched down into Singapore dear Sin Zhi called me. >.> Chalet things needa settle. I think it was like only 1/2hr lor. Sad life eh? Haiz... No time to rest have to start work again. Ok bah. Pretty much that's all. If I rmb other stuff I'll add it in later. This is a very long post eh? I don't dare look again. Haha... Ok lah. 3:05am liao. LOL... Like spent 3 hrs typing? Hehe... Bye.
