Where was I... Hmm... I dunno where I wanted to continue previously. Lol.

Did I say about the weather? It's quite cooling. Maybe 20 degrees? At least that's what the thermometer on the bus on the way there said as well as what the internet said anyway. Haha. But that's only for the night. The day it's cooling if you're in a shade. Mind you. Not shelter. The shelter traps the heat and causes it to be extremely hot. If wind blows it's cooling. If you stand under the sun it starts to burn you. Haha. Good to stand under the sun in the morning. Other times? Nah. Not good. And it's quite easy to get sunburnt too. The UV rays rating are mostly extreme there. According to the weather forecast website that is. Haha.

Oh and the food. The food is all taken from some other camp. Then bring all the way here in those big bins that can keep food warm. Sometimes no food so eat cup noodles. Haha. Every meal can eat cup noodles one. Suimin~ Haha. Not that nice lah. Just that there's only 1 type. And I saw in the supermarket it's on offer. $1 per cup. Original $1.20 or something. And got all sorts of flavours. Got prawn & chicken, chicken, oriental chicken, prawn, mee goreng, singapore curry chicken. Yes. Singapore curry chicken. Very weird. Haha. It's clear soup lor. Taste weird also.

And the 2nd last day or so we got a feast for dinner. Got all the types of food for us. Haha. That one was nice~ I miss that. Eat until gonna explode. All so nice. Haha. No pork though. =( Hmm. Still got beer that day. Free 1 can for all de. The brand's VB and they say it stands for very bad. Haha. At least got free lah hor? Haha.

Did I say about the canteen? It sell stuff at cut throat prices one lor. 1 can of soft drink cost $2. Aussie dollars. That's like $2.60 Sing. So ex. Tsk tsk. They earn like 200% or more one lor. Then a small bag of potato chips like 50g or something cost $2. Outside they sell $2 for 180g. Haha. See? For 20 packs of 50g I think they sell at $6 or so only. I think. Actually I forgot the price. Haha. It's Smith's brand. Singapore's Candy Empire also got sell. But for the big pack it cost like $6+. They also cut throat one lor. Haha. They (canteen) also got sell microwave meals. $5 for 1 meal. Got many types. Hotdog bun with chicken bits in the center. Like hotdog bun but the hotdog is chicken bits instead lah. Then still got dunno what chilli cheese rice which has beef inside. Still got potato cheese wedges. And many many more. Not really many many lah. Just many. Haha.

And they also sell a cap. $5 only~ Haha. I bought that. The front part of the cap super long. Very weird. Printed is Wallaby and SAF and a wallaby logo. With singapore flag as background. Hard to describe. I see if I free I take photo and upload bah. Haha. And they also sell icy pole. For $1.50 I think. It's just ice cube on a stick that kind of ice cream. Haha. And beer also. But only after 5pm. $2.50 for the lightest alcohol content. $4 for the highest one. Which is the VB. Haha. That's only like 6.7% or so only lor. And they sell wine also. $10 for a bottle. Heard like can pour only 6-7 small cups only. Haha. Alcohol is cheap there~ Without taxes that is. Haha.

That should be all for the training area part bah. If want to know anything ask me bah. I'll say more. Haha.

Now for the R&R which means spend and spend. Haha. No lah. But they bring us to shopping centres and 1 weird weird cave. Pretty much can only spend and spend what. Lol. But I didn't spend much lah. There only got like clothes shop and supermarkets. Spend where? And I saw nougats at a shop. Not exactly the nougats lah. They sold out. Haha. Just the price though. $39.90 for 1 kg. And when I saw in candy empire it's $2 for 100g. And candy empire one is belgium made. Haha. Seems like it's even cheaper. And the shop there damn funny. 500g is $19.90 and 250g is $9.90. 100g is $3.90 I think. So means the less you buy the cheaper it is. Haha. Weird selling strategy.

And they dumped us into a shopping centre for like 9 hours. It's big lah. But 9 hours? And the shops mostly close at like 3pm or so. And we need stay there till 7pm. -.- Dunno do what lor. But we went to Hog's breath cafe to eat lah. So kind of burnt a lot of time. Singapore also got but heard not as nice. The place we stay in is just motels. 1 level de. Not that bad lah. Still got swimming pool. But the pool is as big as 1 room. -.- For ppl to splash water only lor. Haha. Worse thing is they close it at 9pm. -.- Still got timing de. The night we stay there was a friday. Er. Sounds weird. Nvm. Haha. So the shops only close at 9pm. At least the supermarket lah. Haha. So we shop till 8+ then left lor. It's a car motel or thingy. So you can drive there then stop and rest for the night. Room still not too small. Guess is cause I slept in triple room. As in 3 ppl can sleep in that 1 room. Heard from others their 2 ppl room is small. Anyway the whole company got split up into 3 motels. So stupid de. So end up won't even see each other cause they also split up the buses. Sad.

Good thing is our motel is close to a warehouse. Like across the road. Haha. Good right? Very easy to go there shop. But mind you. The road is not normal small road. It's the main highway connecting the whole of Australia. And it's 3 lanes wide. With blind spots. No traffic lights near there. No way to cross other than jaywalking. So very stupid lor. Have to wait for damn long to cross. -.- The warehouse there got stuff sold at quite low price. Didn't get much though. Haha. Not as if I plan on bringing the whole of Australia back. Haha.

And the airport very small lor. Got a gift shop, a pizza shop and that's pretty much all. It's like 100m across only? It's a regional airport lah. So no need so big. And the plane we took back just ferried the next ingoing batch. Haha. I pity them. We going back le and they just reached. Lol. I guess that's how the batch before us thought of too when we reached.

Oh oh. And the food they also want provide during our R&R. Lol. So weird. Anyway the 1st day lunch was a buffet at some country club. It's quite cheap only. Like $12.90 per adult. And got beef, chicken, lamb, salad, ice cream, wedges and drinks. Haha. Quite good too. That night dinner was in the Central Queensland Uni. Still ok lah. Not that good. The next day lunch was kind of free and easy. Got a choice of chinese mixed rice (aussie style), pizza/pasta, chicken cutlet and sushi. All from different stalls at the food court. Except the sushi one. It's a stand alone shop. It's all with drinks. I still feel the chicken cutlet most worth it. Haha. Thought it's kind of like the only thing to eat for me. Cause I didn't manage to find the sushi stall during lunchtime. Haha. Big cutlet. And mind you. The mixed rice isn't cheap. It's $9.20 with 3 dish. Can choose all meat I think. But er. Still way way way way too ex lah. Haha. No queue there one. Only some ang mo go eat. Haha. The Chicken cutlet most popular. Chinese food is no good in aussie. Tried that enough for the rest of my life. Haha. I can cook better than them man. And I don't cook! Haha. That's how horrible their chinese food is. The ang mo taste of chinese food at least. Maybe they like. But not us. Haha. A funny thing is they advertise Singapore Army everywhere we get our food. Haha. The whole town knows we're on R&R. It's even on the news. Online news that is. Haha.

So fast start count down already. But it's close to only 1 more year! I feel so happy. Haha. The actual amount of days is 375 though cause 377 days later is a sunday and we will ord on the friday before that! =) So happy~ Haha. Ok lah. Time to zzz.
