Work attachment over already. I stopped writing reflection on thurs. Cause that day need rush out discovery race things then do until very late. Somemore sick already. Then just went to sleep. I think have to finish up everything by today else I will forget. There'll be a lot to do.

Anyway tues to wed at SDC was tons of admin work. Tues morning and thurs morning do point to point guiding. Like bring the touring groups of people around from 1 place to another as part of their programe here. Quite fun lah. But very tiring cause need run from 1 place to another if the groups end and start time very close to each other. It's fun though. That's what it matters.

Wed is all admin work. Need to sort the invoice then scan it into the computer. The invoice is only 1 mth but got like a huge stack. In there see a few familiar schools like Marsiling Primary School in Woodlands. Lol... I think it's familiar cause it's in Woodlands. That's all. :P Then needa use the photocopier machine to scan into the com. The machine very powerful. Can scan copy print and dunno what function. The size is like a normal photocopier. Too bad it can only print in black and white. Still quite a good machine though. But very troublesome. Do anything also need put in pass code. Then still got timeout one. Like 10 sec it will log you out. Then need re enter then can use. So sian. Only printing no need use pass code cause it will auto print. Lol. Then everyone got a account on the machine. Different pass code will log you into different account. If use scanner can use it to scan into your own folder in the SDC server. So cool. Lol. Then I stood there removing the staples and putting it there and scanning it then staple it back for the whole afternoon on wed. Do until backache sia. Need bend down a lot to photocopy and press the file name using the on screen keyboard.

Then after that on wed go try out the new 4D simulator. Gonna open to public on 1/12. We trying it out first. It's like 3D movie and can feel the wind and the shaking. Sounds cool. Then the edu department go try on wed so we followed along and try since we are considered edu "temp" staff. Lol. End up see 3 movies. Then the seat can only vibrate and the 3D not really very 3D. Then the wind not very strong cause I sitting at the corner seat. Need sit like in the 2nd seat from either sides in the front row better. Will be nicer. Lol. Anyway we didn't see 1 ride. Dunno what ice de. But I feel the ride not very fun lah. Cause the 3D effects not very good and the motion not very big. Sit there like the seat very shaky only when it's operating. But then again now is only trial bah. Maybe they will adjust to make it better when it's finally open. Dunno cost how much though. Haha... The seat keep shaking during the ride. Then sit for 3 shows. Plus the photocoping. Make my back so painful. Lol... Like the whole left side of the back pain. Then go sleep liao then recover. Lol... So got back problems de ppl better don't go ride. :P There'll be a tv screen outside I think. On friday there was a screen there so I think from there can watch. Not bad given that it's free. Lol.

Thurs morning supposed to finish up the admin work. But we were required for the point to point guiding. This time we followed them to the X factor Singapore exhibit. It opened to public on friday. Then inside not bad. A lot of very nice de exhibits. Especially the X sculpture or something. Can see the arrows going out and in. If you want know what it is go see for yourself. :P Don't think I should post the pics here. Later they come sue me for dunno what. Lol... Then inside got a huge sign saying X factor Singapore. It's made up of tiny little white and black triangles. But actually it is black triangles printed on a board that already have a black and white pattern. So it's actually printed over with more black triangles to give it the effect. It's still pretty cool though. Then at the last visit to there by the last group the 3 of us attached there followed in together. Previously is we take our groups in. Then if free just pop in. Then the other 2 girls keep zi pai with the X factor sign. Lol... The sign is very pretty I know but no need still such extent bah. Lol...

Then afternoon should take a bit of time finish off the admin stuff. But when go back after lunch it's pretty much done already. So we just finish up the tiny bit and then went to search the permanent exhibit galleria to find questions for the Discovery Race. It's supposed to be a JC type of X-Race already running. It makes the students run around the galleria in search for the answers and know more about the Singapore Story. Lol. We like spend tons of time thinking on how to implement the format so that we ourselves are interested in it. Then end up settling on a very complex format. A crossword. Then the points that intersect with another word will be the letter to be used to form another word for the final solution. Very interesting. But we spent a lot of time sorting it out and drawing etc. Finally it's done then went home to finish up the tiny bits and make a softcopy. Very late when went back so didn't take shuttle bus back. Go to Jurong Point search for Thank You cards to give them on friday. Then went back like very late liao. So end up never do reflection. Lol... Oh and afternoon after we do a bit of the race got briefing for friday's X factor opening. Go there see see listen listen then we continue our work.

Then friday morning we go finish up and try our Discovery Race. The walking part we spend a lot of time playing everything. End up need 1/2 hr. Then if we run only like 15-120mins. So we suggested 25mins for the game time. Then morning got rehearsal for the Discovery Race. So we also go there practice. Then I had to be a usher at the entrance/exit of the X factor exhibit. Then they wanted to use the emergency exit door from inside the galleria. Then need someone to open the electric door. It use electromagnet to shut de door de so need someone to press the button. End up later there is a key to make it stay open. Anyway the door is automatic so press liao it will auto open. It's open out, not the slide that kind of doors. So very dangerous. Must see first then walk else will be hit by the door. Same as that for the exhibit. It is at the multi purpose hall. No permanent linkway so they used a makeshift one. Then when VIPs entering they shifted it to cover the path between the galleria door to the X factor exhibit entrance. Then when all inside they quickly shift it to cover the exit door instead. Very fast. Then need wait very long then they finally came out. They all go try try the things. All very new. Lol... Then usher them to the door and ask them walk themselves back. Lol... So bad right? Not I say de. :P Is planned like that. I think there are some ushers along the way so still ok. Usher like stand there need keep smiling. So weird. These kind of jobs never do before. Lol... Is like all Ambassador Club do de. Then their president also doing ushering there. :P Lol... Then stand at the door the wind from inside keep blowing out. Very cold. Then Shu Yi borrowed a SDC jacket from Henry. Then like already borrow the SDC polo tee from him liao still borrowed his jacket. Like so bad. Lol... But she took le then I just wear lor. For the event mah. No choice. Then after the event over I go out back into the lobby stand and talk with Sin Zhi. Like nothing else to do le. All the guest inside the suite eating snacks. After they left we went in eat some also. The cake not bad. Especially one of the chocolate one. No wonder the 1st time we go take no have. Only on the 2nd time after refilling the final few pieces of mini cake then have. The cake like 1 mouth can finish it. So sad never go take pic of it. The cake decorate until quite nice. Then got curry puff and a mini chicken pie. Those western styled kind. Those ok lah. But quite hot cause still got fire under the tray warming it. Then eat liao go out talk again. Lol... Then like they finish taking photos for fun liao then we all went back up and change out of their SDC polo tee and return to them. Then we gave the Discovery Race worksheet to Geraldine to try out. She brought along our manager to try our race. Then they took like very short time for the front part. Like only 10mins or so then finish the uppper galleria already. Then went down also quite fast. Until the last question that is. Lol... They ropped in 1 more person help them find the answer. Then they spend like 10+mins on that qn. Keep cannot find. Lol... Then finally they found it and like took 20+mins. Then like that need extend the time liao. Lol... Then they say a few parts cannot find the answer but actually is never see carefully. Got a lot of it pop up around the exhibits. So they said very good. Just edit a few question, which we did in like 10+ mins, then redo the worksheet and gave it to them just after 6pm. They say wanna give to teachers try on another event on Monday. Lol... Like we do until so good. Until can sell it to teachers liao. Haha... And we only spend like 1 full day doing it up. Then the manager say can fire 1 person and hire the 3 of us into the team to do the work liao. Lol... I wonder what's gonna happen to it in the future... Hmm... Will we see it if we visit SDC. If so we will like lol there directly lor. Like go there can visit them again then see our own work shown. Lol... So cool. Before seeing the questions like know the answers liao. :P

Then we submit the form for the work timing thingy. Then the manager say got $10 per day but the school never request so don't have... So sad.... Haiz... Hopefully they can send some money over. We helped them develop a new programme leh. Haha... Should have asked for copyright. :P Oh well. At least it was fun. Haha...

Then now still sick. Haiz... At this rate tmr won't be going to OBS liao lor. So sad. Haiz... Anyway after work shadowing we go Jurong Point celebrate or something like that. Go Fish & Co. Soooooo ex. No choice lor. Pau beat and min come also. Beat eat liao so the other 3 of us shared a seafood platter for 2. Lol... Not bad bah. Quite nice. Very long never eat liao. Haha... Then go walk walk around then found out the Popular is at basment. Weird place. The food outlets are everywhere anyway. So confusing. At least the Popular very big. Got like multiple counters for 1 queue de. Very cool. And found the cotton twine for OBS. So troublesome to find. Haiz... Then after that went back liao. End up still earlier than thurs. For some reason. Lol... Then lazy to do reflection the end up never do again. Really have to find sometime to do. Haha...

The work attachment was fun. Then the director said like if want part time job after A level at SDC can go find him. But he said he dunno if he'll still be there. I guess either he'll be promoted or change job le. Haha.... He's quite nice though. Then when we gonna leave he told us of the 630pm bus back. We were like O.o... There's a 630pm bus back? Too bad we not gonna take it anymore le. Haha... Will miss all of them at SDC. Hopefully can find time to go back and visit them. Then go back work in the edu department again. Help plan programs and do point to point guiding. Haha... So fun. If you like the job, you'll look forward to it everyday. Haha... Maybe it's just a fresh feeling so now like it. Maybe work long liao won't like it as much anymore. Haha... Who knows? But the group of people there very fun. Can liao. Haha...

Maybe I'll post again soon. Dunno if still gonna go OBS. If got go then earliest can update is friday. Oh well... 2:30am liao... Haha... So late le... Bye.
